Theme and Variations
Right before I was shooting a softball game yesterday, I thought how cool it would be to shoot a whole game in cyanotype, a printing process, that creates a bluish image, related to black and white printing. This would be the digital equivalent of the effect. Possibly because I have shot a lot of games this season, I wanted to do something different. It turned out to be a little tedious, because I would have to convert each image as I went or else go back and do the whole series in camera, or batch edit later, so I will save this idea for another time. I will, however share with you the image I was playing with before the game (original, cyanotype, and sepia tone). I am betting this will show up again later when I find a better use for it.
